After a brief stop in Paris, Léa and Tara end up in Uppsala where their target is waiting for them and kidnaps Tara. After a single deadly shot from Léa's gun, the pair are chased through the narrow Uppsala streets on bicycles only to find themselves on a runaway train hurtling toward a final, fiery crash.

What can I say about this book? First off, adventure on top of adventure! Kept me on the edge of my seat. Car chases, spies, and conspiracy! Tying in real life technology with actual history, this book kept me wanting more. The "Meet the Author" at the end was, by far, the most creative aspect of the story, and of any book out there. *No spoilers!* Cannot wait for the next segment to come out! Excited to see what will happen with the big bad guy and our best friend hero duo. Two thumbs up.Product details

This book had it all action adventure best friends not to mention Kick-Ass locations and lots of humor.
The debut novella from T.D. Cochran, I was entertained and engrossed in reading a rather crafty plot which, for me anyway, came together around the third chapter. I enjoyed the slow and steady and thorough development of the main characters as well as the introduction into what I hope will be a series of adventures of some amazingly gifted women - that are also best friends. I would categorize this as more of an adventure story than spy - but then again I don't want to give away too much! Contemporary in time frame, this writer has a clear vision of the current technology and the application of such in the real world, and I would venture to say is both a cycling enthusiast based on the details in the book.
I know a story "has me" when I find myself creating the persona of the character in my mind - what they look like, and how they think - and actually thinking about them later - which this one totally did for me. While they exist in the imagination of Cochran, he has incorporated so much detail, that they become very real. My only true disappointment was when I reached the end - that there was not more......I really wanted to keep reading - to find out - what happens next. I guess I'll just have to wait for the next one...
